Beaches
{{zoomimage|beach-3|Punta Prima north and Nautilus café|right}}This whole stretch of the Costa Blanca south of Torrevieja is delightful, with lots of little bays and coves, as well as some longer beaches, interspersed with low cliffs, rocky outcrops and rock-pools. All the beaches are covered with fine golden sand and regularly cleaned every night. Unusually for Spain, most of them are connected by a coastal walkway/promenade, which makes for a very pleasant stroll throughout the year.
Punta Prima
The nearest beaches are the two at Punta Prima, a 15 to 20 minute walk from your holiday home. The two beaches are separated by several hundred metres of rocky outcrops and rock-pools, with a promenade all the way along the top. The northern beach is right next to the Nautilus café, a great place to sit by the sea and sip a café con leche or a cool beer. The southern beach is a little bigger and also has a café/restaurant just behind it.

Playa Flamenca and La Zenia
{{zoomimage|beach-1|Playa La Zenia|left}}A little bit further south are the Playa Flamenca beaches. Cala Penas, Cala Mosca, Cala Estaca and Cala Cerrada are all individual sandy coves. La Zenia is a larger beach, with a deep gently sloping sandy beach ideal for children, and plenty of sun umbrellas. A short walk along the coastal path round the headland brings you to Cala Capitan. This is probably the largest beach in the area, similar to La Zenia but with even more space, children’s play equipment and a volleyball net.

Campoamor
{{zoomimage|beach-2|The beach at Campoamor|right}}A few kilometres further south brings you to the marina and beaches of Campoamor. Here a long sandy beach brings you past two café /restaurants (La Barraca is recommended for good seafood and tapas) to the marina, usually full of boats of all shapes and sizes.
